Our trip to Alaska...
We went to Alaska for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time! It was so nice getting to experience a change of seasons. Erik got his wish and there was lots of snow, and it was very cold...snowing and 12 degrees when we arrived! Quite a change from the balmy 80 degrees that we left that morning! Here are some highlights from our trip!

Over the last few days...
I was lucky enough to visit Paul Mitchell's estate (yes, the hair guy) in Kailua last weekend. The base spouses' club hosted a wine tasting there! It was a spectacular place with a view to die for! Here's a few pics from the evening. Also, there's some other photos from the last few days that I've been meaning to post. More of our little "Minnie Mouse" to come from Halloween!
Me in Paul Mitchell's backyard. Those are the Mokulua Islands in the background.
A spectacular view...even when it's cloudy!
Painting with Kensley in the backyard...
Baking Halloween cookies! Kensley made sure I knew exactly how to roll them in the sprinkles.
Helping Mommy water the plants. She mostly watered her feet with the watering can, but that's ok, she had fun trying!
Dancing with Daddy with the necessary princess headgear...

An Aloha Fall...
We went to the Pumpkin Patch the other day! After scanning over all of the pumpkins, Kensley finally settled on one the size of an orange. It will make for some tricky carving, but it's the one that she couldn't live without! They had a few carnival rides as well, which pretty much made it the best day of her life. She laughed all the way around, and rode the "fishy car" ride three times. It doesn't take much at this age!
