I was lucky enough to visit Paul Mitchell's estate (yes, the hair guy) in Kailua last weekend. The base spouses' club hosted a wine tasting there! It was a spectacular place with a view to die for! Here's a few pics from the evening. Also, there's some other photos from the last few days that I've been meaning to post. More of our little "Minnie Mouse" to come from Halloween!
Me in Paul Mitchell's backyard. Those are the Mokulua Islands in the background.
A spectacular view...even when it's cloudy!

Helping Mommy water the plants. She mostly watered her feet with the watering can, but that's ok, she had fun trying!

An Aloha Fall...
We went to the Pumpkin Patch the other day! After scanning over all of the pumpkins, Kensley finally settled on one the size of an orange. It will make for some tricky carving, but it's the one that she couldn't live without! They had a few carnival rides as well, which pretty much made it the best day of her life. She laughed all the way around, and rode the "fishy car" ride three times. It doesn't take much at this age!

Sea Life Park & Diamond Head
We recently went to Sea Life Park, where we had a great time seeing lots of sea creatures, and even getting to touch a few! Kensley loved the Dolphin Show and feeding the Sea Turtles. Today we finally hiked to the top of Diamond Head...a hot walk, but worth it once you reach the top! Here's some pics from our adventures!
Hawaii Children's Discovery Center
Here we are at the Hawaii Children's Discovery Center! Kensley had a great time visiting all of the different scenes which were all shrunken to kid friendly sizes! A very cool place that wore the kids out!!

A present for Daddy!
A few weeks ago I took Kensley to Clay Cafe where she was able to pick out a piece of pottery to paint! After looking everything over she picked out a mug to paint for Daddy. The first one she picked out was a a tiny tea set cup and I managed to convince her that Daddy would need a much bigger cup! Finally she settled on a Daddy-sized mug! She painted it diligently with colors that she picked out (she even made sure to paint the inside and the bottom). Finally, we were able to pick up the finished product yesterday from the kiln and she gave it to Daddy when he got home from work. She was so proud of her painted mug and kept saying "Do you think he's going to love it Mommy?" After hours of waiting and waiting, Daddy finally came home from work and she was able to give him his present! Daddy loved it, of course :)
