About Me

Father/Daughter Dance...April 18, 2009

Erik and Kensley went to a Father/Daughter dance last night and had the best time! Kensley was so excited to wear a fancy dress, and loved Daddy in his uniform. They had dinner, pink cake and lemonade, and then danced the night away! I know they both loved getting to spend such a wonderful evening together.

Getting ready for the big night...

Almost time to go...

Easter 2009

Although we missed Erik and the rest of our family today, we had a wonderful Easter with friends. Here's a few pictures of the day's events. We had brunch at the Officer's Club with our friends Hillary, Ava & Reese. We also had an egg hunt in their backyard! Then, we finished off the day with a yummy Easter dinner at our friends Dani, Pat, Brynn & Tyler's house!

The Easter Bunny brought Kensley lots of good stuff!

All dressed up and ready to go!

The egg hunt is on!

Found one!

This one was taken at an egg hunt that we went to on Saturday. Kensley should be a pro now after so many egg hunts this year!

Almost Easter...

We've been getting ready for Easter, and Kensley has already been to two egg hunts! The first one was at the Children's Discovery Center in Honolulu and she had a great time! The second one was on base and was put on by 3rd Marine Regiment. She loved the idea of that one, and was very excited to hunt for eggs, yet fell to her knees in the middle of the hunt declaring that "it was all too much!" Drama queen perhaps?

We had some friends over to dye some Easter eggs. The kids had a lot of fun, and the mommies were exhausted by the end of it!
Here we are at the Children's Discovery Center in Honolulu. We go there often and the kids always have a great time. This particular day they had an Easter egg hunt and some crafts as well!

And then they moved on to sushi in the Japanese room.

She's all ready for the Regimental egg hunt in her new dress!
Waiting for them to say "GO!" She collapsed from the competition shortly thereafter :).
